The High-Revving V12 Heart
The centerpiece of the Valkyrie Spider is its 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine. Developed in partnership with Cosworth, this is an engineering masterpiece designed for pure driver engagement. It's a screamer, revving to an astonishing 11,100 rpm and producing 1,000 horsepower on its own. This engine is a fully stressed member of the car's chassis, meaning it's a load-bearing component, just like in a Formula 1 car. With the Spider's roof removed, the raw, unfiltered shriek of this V12, sitting inches behind the driver's head, becomes the defining and most visceral element of the experience.
