Aston Martin DBX: Reinventing the SUV

There’s a first time for everything. Aston Martin is just about to unveil its first contribution to the world of sport utility vehicles. Inspired by a legacy of top-of-the-line technology, craftsmanship, and innovation, the Aston Martin DBX will literally reinvent the concept of the SUV, pairing high performance, premier luxury, and versatility into a package that makes no compromises.
The technical details have yet to be transmitted to the public but we can assure you that the DBX will be as agile as Aston Martin’s most refined sports cars. It will have the amenities and technology to propel it to the top of its prestigious class.
Aston Martin has released a few glimpses of the camouflaged vehicle during testing. Signature Aston Martin elements are recognizable, such as an oblong front grille and the dovetail rear spoiler.
Extensive Testing to Earn the Prestigious Aston Martin Badge
The Aston Martin DBX has commenced its extensive testing programme. It is being put to the test through demanding experiments to make it the best SUV available. For example, engineers have brought it to a Welsh Rally stage in order to examine its capacities in terms of chassis, performance, and suspension.
Offroad, high speed and towing exercises are also on the specifically designed testing programme. From the frozen Arctic and high Alpine peaks, all the way to Middle Eastern deserts with countless laps on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, no facet of automotive driving and road conditions have been overlooked.
The DBX is scheduled to be unveiled at the end of 2019 and will be built at Aston Martin Lagonda’s St. Athan facility, Aston Martin’s designated “Home of Electrification,” where fully EV models will enter production in the near future.
